Research division: Environmental conditioning and control for above ground and underground built environments

The division is led by Prof. Angui Li. There are 3 full professors, 4 associate professors, 3 assistant professors, and more than 70 PhD and master students with the division. The main research topics are advanced ventilation and air distribution, environmental conditioning and control for above ground and underground built environments, industrial ventilation and contaminant control, reduction of flow resistance in HVAC distribution systems, and so forth. More than 50 national and international research and engineering projects were accomplished in recent years.

Now 2 to 4 post-doctoral research fellows are recruited because of rapid expansion of the division. The candidates should have HVAC or closely related majors. Expertise of intelligent buildings, AI and IoT are useful addings. The candidates, who have obtained PhD degree within 3 years and below 35 years old, are preferred. The candidates are preferred to be self-motivated and have group collaboration spirit. The main duties are of getting involved of ongoing research projects, publishing academic papers and patents, and preferably developing research proposals. English/Chinese (Mandarin) are working language. Competitive salaries, insurance, allowance, and benefits will be supplied.
